he Washington County Life Saving Crew provides Emergency Medical Services in and around Washington County, Virginia. Our volunteers respond to over 3,000 emergencies each year, including medical emergencies, crash rescue, water rescue, and provide mutual aid for Advanced Life Support for neighboring agencies. Even if you or your loved ones have never needed our services, you can rest easy knowing that we are there for you 365 days a year.

About Washington County Life Saving Crew Inc
Washington County Life Saving Crew is a trusted provider of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Washington County, Virginia. With over 50 years of experience, our agency offers 24-hour protection from our community-based station in Abingdon, Virginia. Our dedicated fleet includes five Advanced Life Support/Basic Life Support ambulances, two Crash Rescue trucks, two Rescue Boats, and a Quick Response unit.
We cover nearly 80 square miles of territory, ranging from rural to heavily industrialized areas and challenging mountainous terrain. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on the support of donations to expand our resources, train new members, and ensure the highest quality of care. We pride ourselves on our award-winning service and participate in state competitions for ALS, BLS, and extrication services.
In addition to our exceptional EMS, we have specialized rescue teams for Vehicle, Water, and Vertical Rescue situations. These teams undergo rigorous training to promptly respond to any emergency.
