About WCVA
WCVA, the national membership body for voluntary organizations in Wales, is dedicated to enabling these organizations to make a bigger difference together. With a focus on funding, training, events, and awards, WCVA equips voluntary organizations with the skills, tools, and connections they need to thrive. In 2020/21 alone, WCVA distributed approximately £47m in funding to charities, social enterprises, and volunteers in Wales, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the sector.
From providing information on funding schemes to hosting training sessions tailored to the needs of voluntary organizations, WCVA helps these organizations run more effectively, develop their skills, and increase their impact. Additionally, WCVA organizes various events including the renowned gofod3, the Annual Lecture and AGM, and the Welsh Charity Awards. By becoming a member of WCVA, voluntary organizations can unite and face the challenges of today together, making an even greater difference in their communities
