About Whale and Dolphin Conservation
The Marine Mammal Protected Areas Task Force (MMPATF) is dedicated to the conservation of marine mammals and their habitats across the globe. Formed in 2013 by key conservation bodies, including the International Committee on Marine Mammal Protected Areas (ICMMPA) and the IUCN, the MMPATF spearheads initiatives that focus on identifying Important Marine Mammal Areas (IMMAs).
