LEAP, or the Low Emissions Analysis Platform, is an innovative tool developed by the Stockholm Environment Institute, designed to assist users in analyzing and modeling low-emission energy pathways. LEAP offers a range of applications, including interactive scenario exploration, which allows stakeholders to visualize energy flows through informative Sankey diagrams. Users can compare greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution across various scenarios, as well as create standard-format energy balances for future energy pathways.

In addition to its modeling capabilities, LEAP facilitates community engagement through workshops, training courses, and a wealth of resources such as user guides, videos, and citation guidelines. It features complementary tools like the Integrated Benefits Calculator (IBC) and the Next Energy Modeling system for Optimization (NEMO).
