We Are TLM is a brand dedicated to creating a positive change in the lives of children in Tanzania who are battling cancer. Before their intervention, the survival rate for these children was alarmingly low, with only one in ten receiving treatment and even fewer surviving. However, We Are TLM is determined to change this narrative.

Their mission is to ensure that no child in Tanzania suffers or dies unnecessarily from cancer by providing access to quality services that can lead to cure rates comparable to those in resource-rich settings. We Are TLM consists of three NGOs: Tumaini La Maisha in Tanzania, and Their Lives Matter in the UK and Ireland. Their collaborative efforts encompass advocacy, fundraising, and curative care for children with cancer in Tanzania.

Through strategic partnerships and dedicated stakeholders, they have been able to develop collaborative treatment centers and implement standardized protocols to improve the efficacy of cancer treatments. With a clear strategic plan in place, they aim to expand their reach until every child with cancer in Tanzania has a fighting chance.
