Weatherstone Sharks

Weatherstone Sharks is a summer recreational swim team serving children in the Weatherstone neighborhood of Cary, North Carolina. Open to residents and homeowners ages 4 to 18, the team welcomes swimmers of all skill levels; younger children may also be considered depending on their comfort in the water. As a member of the Southern Division of the Tarheel Swimming Association, North Carolina’s largest summer recreational youth swim league, the Sharks compete in Tuesday evening dual meets from early June through late July.

The team’s program focuses on helping swimmers develop their strokes, build confidence and friendships, and enjoy the sport. Practices and home meets take place at the neighborhood pool on Castalia Road, where the Sharks host visiting competitors and offer concessions during meets. Team resources include registration, practice and equipment information, team swimwear and shirts, meet signups, calendars, and guidance for families new to swim meets. The Swimtopia mobile app provides team alerts, event signups, volunteer commitments, and access to swim results.
