The Webfooters Water Ski Show Team is a community performance team based in Fremont, Wisconsin, where it has entertained audiences on the Wolf River since 1976. During the summer, the team performs for thousands of spectators at shows held each Wednesday and Sunday. Its lively productions combine water skiing, music, costumes, and theatrical acts, supported by powerful boats and many hours of practice. The Webfooters also compete in the Wisconsin State Water Ski Tournament and the National Show Ski Tournament. Team highlights include an award for Most Original Act, recognition for Best Ballet Line in the Nation, and several top-five national finishes.
Members range in age from three to over 60, and the team welcomes individuals and families. Participation is not limited to skiing: opportunities also include boat driving, spotting, dock and sound crew, acting, costume making, and concession work. Beginners are welcome and can be taught to ski. The Webfooters invite people interested in joining either as performers or support crew to submit an inquiry through the team’s website for membership information.
