About WebSurg
WebSurg is the online university of IRCAD, created by surgeons for surgeons in 2000. Spearheaded by Professor Jacques Marescaux and his team at the European Institute of TeleSurgery (EITS) in Strasbourg, WebSurg focuses on minimally invasive surgery and offers free medical and surgical training. Covering 12 specialties and 5 technologies, WebSurg publishes multimedia content monthly, with most material coming from IRCAD and international surgeon contributions.
This platform serves to update surgeons on new technologies, provide continuing education, and promote the science and artistry of surgery.
