About WeCode
We are "takaoka project," a student team working to revitalize Takaoka City in Toyama Prefecture. Takaoka City has appealing tourist destinations such as the "Takaoka Great Buddha," "Zuiryuji Temple," and "Amaharashi Coast," but it attracts few tourists, and the outflow of young people is a serious problem across Toyama Prefecture as a whole. If this continues, there are concerns that the city's tourism resources will decline.
"takaoka project" aims to address these challenges by harnessing the power of students. We plan to gather high school students from both inside and outside Takaoka City for a camp-style business contest, with the goal of helping them rediscover the appeal of Takaoka City.
Our brand color is light blue, a color that symbolizes the charm of Takaoka City. In particular, it echoes the body color of "Doraemon," a work by Takaoka-born creator Fujiko F. Fujio, the breathtaking scenery of "Amaharashi Coast," and the fresh, forward-looking attitude of young people striving to build Takaoka's future.
The brand logo is a text logo using a custom font, with the height of each letter adjusted to express a commitment to activities that are "grounded" and "stable." The letter "j" is taller than the other letters, a design choice meant to convey the youthful energy and spirit of challenge within otherwise stable activities.
