Weedbusters

Weedbusters is a dedicated initiative focused on protecting Aotearoa New Zealand from the threats posed by invasive weeds. The organization empowers individuals and communities to identify, control, and safely dispose of weeds through educational resources and hands-on support. Weedbusters offers a comprehensive weed control handbook, free guidebooks, and informative articles designed to help Kiwis cultivate healthier landscapes.

With a wide-ranging weed list and a "Weed of the Moment" feature, Weedbusters provides users with the tools they need to recognize and manage invasive species effectively. The initiative encourages public participation through events and activities, promoting an active role in local weed management. Additionally, they offer plant alternatives through their "Plant Me Instead" program, highlighting sustainable gardening practices.

Whether you're looking to manage weeds in your backyard or contribute to community efforts, Weedbusters invites everyone to become a “Weedbuster” and join in the fight against invasive flora. Together, they aim for a more sustainable and vibrant New Zealand.
