Unclaimed brand
Family owned and handmade in the USA for 50 years, we employ local artists who hand paint each intricate detail on our finely made miniatures. Each piece is made from the heart and is an homage to nursery rhymes, folk and fairy tales, stories and nostalgia from growing up on an old farm in New England.

Wee Forest Folk is a beloved brand known for their adorable and meticulously crafted mouse figurines. Each Wee Forest Folk mouse begins as an original clay piece, which is hand sculpted by one of the talented sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculptures are then molded and hand cast at their mouse factory in Carlisle, MA.
Carefully selected artists bring these sweet little mouse characters to life by flawlessly painting each one by hand. Every miniature sculpture starts with an idea and a lump of clay, showcasing the highly refined skill required to create such intricate pieces. After being airbrushed to simulate fur, each piece is sent to local artists who paint them with non-toxic paint using the tiniest of brushes.
At the mouse factory, each figurine is inspected for perfection before being carefully positioned onto a base and fitted with accessories. The finished product is marked with the sculptor's initials, topped with a lustrous gloss, and equipped with a leather tail. Whether it's the simplest or most intricate design, each Wee Forest Folk creation goes through the same meticulous process.
The brand's dedication to craftsmanship and attention to detail shines through in every piece, adding joy and whimsy to any collection
