Weerbaar Fit

Weerbaar Fit is a Dutch sports and resilience-training provider founded in 2023 by Mariska Janssen, who combines her passion for Taekwon-Do with her background as a movement scientist. Based in Boxmeer, the organisation offers physical and mental training for people of all ages, with particular attention to children, women, older adults and people with disabilities. Its approach is designed to accommodate individual abilities, make enjoyment a priority and follow scientifically informed training principles. Classes and courses are led by experienced, certified instructors.

The programme includes preschool gymnastics, Tigers4life and Taekwon-Do classes for children, young people, adults and participants with additional support needs, as well as the Women Power Program. Weerbaar Fit provides both regular group lessons and shorter courses, alongside private training and workshops. Other activities include sports-themed children’s parties and rental of its training space, or dojang, and XXL games. The organisation also shares lesson schedules, rates and registration information online, and offers opportunities for newcomers to try selected classes.
