Weet hoe je leeft

Stichting Weet hoe je leeft! is a care and learning organization based in Almere Buiten, the Netherlands, offering a safe and welcoming place for people with support needs. Its approach puts each participant’s wishes, abilities and interests at the center. Staff provide step-by-step guidance to help people develop skills, confidence and independence at their own pace, while encouraging social connection and personal growth.

The foundation offers day activities, learning and work placements, support across different areas of daily life, and youth care in the form of after-school activities. Participants can explore gardening and sustainable growing, household and kitchen tasks, general maintenance, furniture making and renovation, retail, animal care, and creative and musical activities. The organization also runs an educational shop where locally grown produce and participant-made items can be sold, as well as Tante Nel, a tea house and lunchroom serving drinks and lunches. Through practical activities and individualized support, Weet hoe je leeft! helps participants discover what they enjoy and work toward goals that suit them.
