Weinfurtner DAS GLASDORF is a family-run destination in Arnbruck, in Germany’s Bavarian Forest, bringing together glassmaking, shopping, dining and landscaped outdoor spaces. Founded and run by the Weinfurtner family and the Glasdorf team, it invites visitors to explore the craft of glass and enjoy a full-day outing, with free admission to the grounds.
At its glassworks, artisans create one-of-a-kind pieces, while glass grinders, engravers, painters and fusing artists add further variety. Visitors can watch the work, browse and buy glass art, decorations, home accessories, gifts and seasonal displays, and request personal engraving to customize glassware. The site also includes shopping departments for jewelry, traditional clothing, lifestyle products and handcrafted goods, with individual jewelry and fashion consultations available.
Dining is part of the experience, with a bistro café and the Wirtshaus zur Glashütte, which serves Bavarian-Bohemian cuisine. The grounds offer places to stroll and relax, and the venue hosts events and experiences for families, groups and other visitors.
