Founded in 2019 as a series of small open-mic nights in Amsterdam, it has grown into a regular destination for expats, internationals, and local comedy fans seeking an enjoyable night out. Its shows feature carefully selected headliners from the UK, the US, and European comedy circuits, chosen for their performance quality rather than social media popularity.

Weird Uncle presents one-night-only appearances alongside regular events at venues including Tierney’s in Nijmegen, QBus Club in Leiden, and Branoul Theater in The Hague.
