The German Red Cross District Association Euskirchen (DRK-Kreisverband Euskirchen e.V.) serves communities across the Euskirchen district, combining emergency response with practical support, education and social services. Its work includes ambulance and rescue services, disaster response, mountain and water rescue, first aid, blood donation, medical support at events and assistance from trained rescue dogs. The association also offers everyday help such as outpatient care, emergency call systems, transport for people with mobility needs, senior travel and a social clothing shop.

For children and families, its services include childcare centres, after-school programmes, youth work, holiday activities and parent-and-child courses. It provides migration counselling, refugee support, integration services and assistance for people facing hardship. Training and learning opportunities range from first aid and family education to professional development and courses for emergency personnel, including paramedic training. The association also welcomes volunteers, supports members and donors, and operates educational and community venues, including facilities at Vogelsang IP.
