Welkom Kind is a recognized childminder agency serving families across Noord-Brabant, with more than 70 locations and no waiting lists. Established in 2005, the organization connects parents with carefully matched, well-trained childminders who provide small-scale care in a warm, home-like setting. Its services include baby care and out-of-school care, with flexible hours that can include evenings and weekends. Families can explore local caregivers, ask questions, and use an online calculator to estimate their childcare costs; Welkom Kind also offers help with childcare benefit information.

Personal attention, children’s safety, and development are central to the agency’s approach. In small groups, children can build social skills, develop language, and learn through play. Welkom Kind says its caregivers receive ongoing training in pedagogy and safety, supported by the agency’s continuing education program. The organization also supports people who want to become childminders, offering training and guidance to help them establish their own home-based childcare service.
