About Wellmade
Wellmade is a digital guide and discovery platform dedicated to Italy’s finest artisans and craft workshops. Created to help people find skilled makers nearby, it introduces their work and makes it easier to explore distinctive, made-to-measure products and services. The platform covers a range of fields, including clothing and accessories, furnishings and decoration, personal care, travel and mobility, music and performance, and restoration and conservation.
Visitors can search for artisans, learn about their craft, read and share reviews, save favorites, and create personalized itineraries. The free Wellmade app brings these features to mobile devices and also helps artisans manage their profiles. The site complements its directory with a magazine featuring news, interviews, and itineraries, as well as photography that celebrates artistic crafts. Its ambassadors, including designers and artists, contribute expertise and perspectives to promote Italian craftsmanship and the culture of quality making.
Wellmade is a project of Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte ETS, a private nonprofit institution founded in Milan in 1995 to support and promote artistic crafts.
