About The Wellington City Mission
The Wellington City Mission is a charitable trust affiliated with the Anglican Church, dedicated to serving those in need in the Wellington region. With a history of 118 years, we have been providing assistance to individuals and families since 1904. Regardless of your circumstances, we offer a wide range of services to support you.
These include supported Transitional Housing, Rest Home, and hospital-level residential care. Our Community Lounge, Tā te Manawa, welcomes you with open arms, providing a space for community and companionship. Additionally, we offer food support through our Social Supermarket, budget advice, financial mentoring, and 1 to 1 Social Work support and advocacy.
We are inclusive and open to anyone who needs assistance, irrespective of their religious belief, age, ethnicity, or social background. Our ultimate goal is to identify and address the underlying issues people face, creating positive outcomes. You can reach out to us via email at enquiries@wcm.
