Wellington Heritage Festival is a volunteer-led, community-sourced heritage and culture celebration that showcases the region's people, places, and stories. As a platform for individuals, organizations, and communities to promote their events, we play a crucial role in highlighting their efforts through our website, social media, and press coverage. The festival runs for 22 days, from October 26th to November 17th, 2024, offering a diverse range of events.

To become an Event Host, interested parties must register their interest and submit an event application. Event Hosts are responsible for funding and organizing their events, with the festival providing assistance in planning. The festival, which has been jointly operated by the Rotary Clubs of Wellington and the Wellington Heritage Festival Trust since 2023, is funded through sponsorships and public grants.
