Wells Historic is a specialist in historic motorsport, supporting race cars and drivers with preparation, trackside assistance, restoration and related services. Founded by Len Wells, a trained mechanic with motorsport experience, the business became independent in 2024 and is growing with a dedicated team and professional partners. Its approach is built on personal attention, transparency and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Services cover the full race-car journey, from vehicle construction and pre-event inspections to transport and support at circuits. Wells Historic handles organizational needs around the car, driver and event, helping drivers focus on racing. The team also reviews lap times using onboard footage and sector data to identify opportunities for improvement. Customers receive regular updates and photographic documentation, with media coverage extending across builds, preparation and race events. For classic cars and competition vehicles, Wells Historic undertakes complete rebuilds and restorations, addressing technical and visual challenges with care and attention to detail. The company also transports vehicles to race tracks, exhibitions and test facilities.
