WellSouth is a local primary health organization serving the Otago and Southland communities. With a vision of better health and wellbeing for the Southern community, WellSouth delivers and supports various programs in primary care. Their main goal is to enable the people of Otago-Southland to maintain and improve their health and wellbeing through services such as clinical pharmacists, counseling, dietitians, falls prevention, and long-term conditions nursing.

They work closely with general practices and community providers to ensure quick and easy access to primary health care when needed. WellSouth also focuses on reducing health disparities, promoting equity, and improving access to health care. They collaborate with other health providers to enhance integrated care, measure and understand health data for better funding decisions, and promote healthy lifestyles and access to screening and prevention services.
