Stiftung Welt der Versuchungen

Welt der Versuchungen is a German foundation developing an innovative exhibition house for addiction prevention in Erfurt. Founded in 2022 and initiated by Suchthilfe in Thüringen, the foundation aims to bring together art, science and interactive experiences to help people explore addiction risks, reflect on choices and engage in open, non-judgmental dialogue. Its planned venue is intended as a nationwide pioneering project, with a particular focus on reaching young people through accessible, engaging forms of prevention.

While the permanent exhibition house is being planned, the foundation supports related public programming and educational initiatives. These include conversations and readings that address addiction and alcohol use through literature, as well as BE.LIKE.ME., a traveling exhibition about social networks, likes, algorithms and balancing digital and offline life. The exhibition combines perspectives from art and science and offers guided sessions for school groups. The foundation also works with researchers, educators, cultural organizations and public partners to advance evidence-informed prevention and health promotion.
