Unclaimed brand
We only breed 3-4 foals a year and spend hours and hours researching to find the best possible matches out there. We put a lot of time effort and money into our breeding program which we see is paying off in the offspring we´ve produced so far.

Weltstar Stud is a horse-breeding operation based in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, focused on producing carefully planned warmblood competition horses. The stud breeds only three to four foals each year, allowing its team to devote substantial research, time and investment to selecting suitable pairings. European broodmares and purebred stallions form the foundation of the program; its breeding horses are imported warmbloods with bloodlines from Germany and the Netherlands. Mare-and-stallion matches are considered individually, with the aim of producing balanced horses suited to competition.
Alongside its breeding program, Weltstar Stud offers stud services and facilities for the care of broodmares and foals, as well as foal care and training. The property prioritizes animal health and safety, with spacious stables, CCTV monitoring and in-house veterinarians supporting supervision and prompt care. Visitors can explore the horses, services and breeding approach through the stud’s website or arrange a visit. Its small-scale program reflects a strong commitment to thoughtful breeding and the development of its offspring.
