We Make Pretty is a Colorado-based food and drink website created by artist, gardener, and home cook Audrey Potter, who shares her kitchen adventures with her husband and culinary collaborator, Nick. The site offers approachable recipes and ideas for readers interested in plant-based cooking, gluten-free food, fermentation, home brewing, and cocktails. Its collection includes comfort-food favorites, appetizers, sides, sandwiches, tacos, sauces, vegan cheese, and refreshing drinks, with recipes such as spicy gluten-free vegan cornbread, fried cauliflower tacos, and rosemary ginger margaritas.

Many posts preserve recipes and memories from So Radish, a Denver vegan restaurant that Audrey and Nick helped create and that closed in November 2023. The site also explores lacto-fermentation and other ways to experiment with ingredients and food traditions at home. Through recipe stories, practical cooking inspiration, and a personal perspective, We Make Pretty encourages readers to try something new and move beyond everyday routines.

It serves home cooks seeking creative, flavorful options across food and drinks, rather than operating as a restaurant
