WenTonka

WenTonka Foundation is a public-benefit foundation based in Beuren, Germany, dedicated to improving mobility and quality of life for children and young people with amputations, deformities, and other health conditions. Active in related projects since 2010, it works with foundations that share its aims and supports young people in Germany and internationally. Its vision is for every child, regardless of background or physical ability, to have the opportunity to live an independent, active, and fulfilling life.

The foundation directs donations and other contributions toward essential operations, rehabilitation, medical care, and assistive medical devices. It also supports programs that strengthen mental and social wellbeing, advances medical education, and collaborates with organizations pursuing similar goals. To fund its work and build awareness, WenTonka organizes charity runs and other sporting events, including opportunities that encourage participation by people with disabilities. Its broader charitable purposes include children’s and youth welfare, education, public health, development cooperation, support for refugees and war victims, and sport and disability sport.
