About We participate for civil society developmentCenter
We Participate is a non-profit Jordanian civil society organization founded in 2014 by a group of young activists in Zarqa. Our mission is to promote the principles of accountability, civic participation, and social cohesion in Jordan, within the framework of democracy and human rights. We aim to strengthen community ties and foster dialogue and acceptance among individuals.
We believe that participation in various forms and fields is a constant and essential need for societies, and that developing pathways for participation in political, economic, and social domains will contribute to driving development and increasing engagement, especially in marginalized areas. Our projects and initiatives focus on empowering local civil society institutions and improving parliamentary performance.
