Wesser GmbH

Wesser GmbH is a German employer offering seasonal, holiday and part-time jobs in fundraising for charitable and environmental organisations. Its work connects these organisations with the public, helping them build support for causes such as emergency response, first aid, disaster relief, nature conservation, climate protection, biodiversity and humanitarian aid. Its partners include the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, NABU, BUND, LBV and Save the Children Deutschland.

Wesser recruits and prepares people to work as fundraising ambassadors for partner organisations. The application process begins online, followed by a phone conversation and a job interview with a scout to explain the role and assess whether it is a good fit. Successful applicants then join a team and travel to carry out fundraising work. The company presents these roles as opportunities to gain experience, meet new people and contribute to meaningful causes. Employee accounts highlight teamwork, personal development, shared living experiences and the satisfaction of helping nonprofit organisations continue their work.
