It serves as a sanctuary for a multitude of rare and endangered plant species, some of which are on the brink of extinction in the wild.

Western Hills Garden is home to an array of stunning features, including five picturesque ponds, 34 charming bridges, and a breathtaking folly inspired by renowned British garden designer Penelope Hobhouse. A camellia forest, rare conifers, endangered Chinese maples, fern varieties, and countless perennial shrubs only add to the garden's boundless beauty. While exploring this botanical paradise, keep an eye out for our two feline friends, Spot and Squeaky Panchito, as well as the melodious melodies of frogs and occasional appearances by river otters.

In August 2021, we, Hadley Dynak and Kent Strader, embraced the privilege of becoming the caretakers of Western Hills Garden.
