West River Pheasant Hunting Preserve offers managed pheasant hunting and outdoor recreation in the scenic Menan landscape of Idaho. Operated by Erik Bird and a team of local operators, the preserve guides hunting parties through privately maintained habitats planted with alfalfa, sunflowers, millet, kochia, buckwheat, oats, and corn. The setting is designed to provide cover and residual feed for pheasants, while supporting their repopulation after each season.

The preserve accommodates groups of different sizes for seasonal hunts from August 15 through April 15, serving both experienced hunters and newcomers. It also offers a controlled environment for hunting dog training, with operators able to customize outings to help dogs develop practical skills in pheasant habitat. West River aims to make its hunts accessible to visitors with varied needs and can discuss arrangements such as ADA preparations, four-wheelers, and trucks. Located at 3200 E Menan, Menan, Idaho, the preserve invites guests to schedule a hunt or contact the team for more information.
