WSPS K9 Adventures & Dog Training

West Shore Pet Service is a dog walking and training business serving Langford, British Columbia. It offers off-leash group adventure hikes for dogs, combining exercise, socialization, and practice with basic obedience and good manners. Dogs are transported in a climate-controlled minivan to local parks for 90-minute hikes, with an average group size of eight. For added safety, the service provides Garmin Astro GPS tracking collars. The business states that it is licensed and insured, holds a CRD commercial dog walker permit, and is certified in pet first aid.

West Shore Pet Service also provides private training and dog sport classes focused on basic obedience and building the relationship between dogs and their owners. Specialty classes include Rally Obedience, Scent Work, and Trick Dog. The service is led by Shannon, who has more than 20 years of dog-handling experience and has provided professional dog walking services since 2011. She continues to develop her skills through obedience classes and seminars and competes with her own dogs in obedience, rally, and scent work.
