West Texas Dachshunds

West Texas Dachshunds is a licensed dog breeder based in Lubbock, Texas, specializing in AKC-registered Dachshunds. The kennel offers puppies in a range of colors and patterns, along with information about available and expected litters, adult dogs, studs, and dams. French Bulldogs are also featured on the website. Puppies are sold as pets, with breeding rights generally excluded, though the breeder may consider exceptions for established, ethical professionals.

The program includes veterinary checks, vaccinations and deworming, a one-year health guarantee, a purchase agreement, socialization with people and other pets, and a starter puppy pack. West Texas Dachshunds reports using Embark testing to screen parent dogs for more than 270 genetic conditions; puppy testing is available at the buyer’s expense. The site also provides guidance on Color Dilution Alopecia in dilute-colored Dachshunds. Prospective owners can review frequently asked questions, join a paid subscription waitlist for priority access and updates, and contact the kennel by phone or email.
