About West Village Church
West Village Church in Victoria, BC is on a mission to saturate the city with God's people, saved by God's power, for God's purposes. Their vision is to provide an opportunity for every person to have an encounter with Jesus and his Church. Their Sunday Gatherings are a vital part of their church family, where they come together around Jesus, celebrating his remarkable work on the cross through song, prayer, studying the Word, and Communion.
Whether you are new to church, returning after some time, or have been attending for years, you will find a warm and welcoming community at West Village Church. In addition to their Sunday Gatherings, West Village Church believes in going beyond the church walls to make disciples who make disciples. Through their Missional Communities, they learn to live out their new identities as adopted children of God, serving one another and sharing the Gospel in word and deed.
These smaller communities, also known as MCs, gather regularly for worship and discipleship. West Village Church recognizes the transformative power of Jesus in their lives and expresses this through the symbolic act of baptism. They believe that in Jesus, we become a new creation, leaving our old selves behind and embracing our new identity.
