Westwood Instruments is a UK-based team of music makers, engineers and developers creating virtual instruments and sample libraries for composers and producers. Its products span pianos, strings, choir, cello, guitar, synths, winds, brass and percussion, alongside instrument collections, toolkits and bundles. The range includes characterful choices such as Alt Piano, Alt Choir, Rotor Solo Cello and the Novella and Lost series, as well as Roots, a free series of straightforward virtual instruments.
Westwood focuses on expressive sound, detailed recordings and the natural character of musical performances, embracing the grit and imperfections that can make music feel alive. Its libraries are used by music makers from home studios to major film productions, and are designed for creative work across modern music and cinematic scoring. Customers can browse and purchase instruments through the company’s online store, while students and educators can access a discount.
Westwood also provides a Help Centre, shares updates about new releases and promotions, and offers merchandise
