Wetgenes is a creative practice led by Shi and Kriss Blank, bringing together art, technology, games and sound. Its work ranges from commissioned installations and performances to workshops, software and playful digital projects, often inviting audiences to participate, experiment and collaborate.

Wetgenes has created interactive experiences such as Soundpit for Southbank Centre and the National Media Museum, and DRIFT, an installation using motion sensors and microphones to respond to performers and audiences. Its educational and community activities include creative coding sessions, game jams, pixel-art workshops and Bradford Coder Dojo, where participants can explore coding, websites, apps and games.

The practice also develops and shares tools and games. Its projects include Gamecake, an open-source game engine; Fun64, a compact game engine; FunPad, a browser-based environment for editing and sharing code; and Swanky Paint, a pixel-art and animation tool. Other releases include the cooperative board game Candy Ghosts and the puzzle game Dr. Bulbaceous. Across its varied work, Wetgenes combines accessible technology with imaginative, hands-on creative experiences.
