About Wetlands
The Society for the Conservation of Philippine Wetlands, Inc. (SCPW) is a non-stock, non-profit corporation that promotes the wise use of wetlands in the Philippines. Since its establishment in 1998, SCPW has been actively engaged in wetland conservation through various initiatives and projects.
Their objectives include facilitating linkages and networking among wetland advocates, engaging in conservation activities, providing a forum for wetland-related issues, and conducting research, training, and awareness programs. SCPW's work focuses on wetland management and the preservation of these vital ecosystems. Some of their notable projects include the Clear Youth Network, Wetlands Caravan, and the World Wetlands Day celebrations.
