Wetlands Park Friends

Wetlands Park Friends is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting Clark County Wetlands Park, a 2,900-acre managed natural area in southeastern Las Vegas. The Park spans nearly eight miles of the Las Vegas Wash and protects five distinct habitats, offering visitors opportunities to enjoy native plants, wildlife, trails, ponds, and scenic views of the surrounding mountains and Las Vegas Strip.

Friends helps sustain the Park’s programs and activities through community support, donations, and membership. Its work benefits educational programs for Clark County School District students, guest lectures, stewardship projects, and public events. The organization also supports practical needs, such as providing work gloves for volunteers participating in habitat and garden projects. By helping strengthen these offerings, Friends contributes to the Park’s role as a place for recreation, learning, and nature appreciation, much of which is available to the public at no charge. The group invites people to give, join, and volunteer in support of this important Southern Nevada resource.
