Wet Spot Tropical Fish is a premier freshwater aquarium fish store located in Portland, Oregon, known for its unique selection and commitment to quality. Founded nearly 22 years ago by an avid fish enthusiast, the store aims to share a passion for aquatic life with the community. With over 400 tanks, Wet Spot Tropical Fish showcases a vast array of species, including Malawi cichlids, catfish, and rare tropical varieties that are difficult to find elsewhere.

What sets Wet Spot apart is their meticulous approach to fish health. They avoid trans-shipping fish, which often arrives stressed and unhealthy, instead opting for a separate holding facility to ensure all specimens recover before reaching the showroom. Each tank in the store is individually filtered, enhancing the overall wellbeing of the fish and minimizing disease spread.

Wet Spot Tropical Fish also prioritizes customer engagement and education, providing an enjoyable experience for both novice and experienced aquarists. With stunning display tanks and a welcoming atmosphere, it is more than just a store—it’s a destination for aquatic enthusiasts.
