Weyfarers Rowing Club is a recreational and touring rowing club in Surrey, created by and for people who believe rowing should be fun. It describes itself as one of only a handful of clubs of this kind in the UK and presents its focus as making rowing accessible through enjoyable participation, touring and learning. The club offers rowing courses and organizes a varied programme that includes regular outings, touring, social activities, racing, training and education.
Its website also shares club news and upcoming events, helping members and visitors keep up with activities on and off the water. Weyfarers rows on the Thames reach from Shepperton to Sunbury, and provides information about river conditions using Environment Agency data, including flow and water-height readings. This helps rowers understand when conditions may affect outings; the club states that it will not row when its reach is marked red.
Weyfarers Rowing Club Limited is a company limited by guarantee, registered in the UK under company number 11918728
