The World Federation of Neurology (WFN) is a global organization dedicated to promoting quality neurology and brain health worldwide. Established in Brussels in 1957, the WFN is comprised of 123 professional societies from all regions of the world, each representing their own member neurologists. As a UK registered charity, the WFN's mission is to foster quality neurology and brain health through global neurological education and training, with a particular focus on under-resourced areas.

One of the key events organized by the WFN is the biennial World Congress of Neurology (WCN), which rotates across different regions of the world. The congress features scientific sessions, teaching courses, and business meetings. The WFN also offers various programs, such as junior traveling grants, departmental visits, international courses, and grants for local projects.

Additionally, there is a joint CME program with the American Academy of Neurology. Each year, the WFN holds World Brain Day on July 22nd, where a specific neurological disease group is highlighted to raise awareness globally. The WFN is committed to advancing education, improving neurologic sciences, and promoting knowledge in the field of neurology
