About INTOSAI WGEA
The WGEA Secretariat, part of the INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA), is dedicated to supporting Supreme Audit Institutions worldwide. Established in 1992, WGEA strives to increase expertise in environmental auditing and enhance environmental governance through high-quality contributions and visibility from both member SAIs and non-member SAIs. As the largest working group under the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), WGEA currently comprises 84 member SAIs.
Additionally, six INTOSAI regions, including AFROSAI, ARABOSAI, ASOSAI, EUROSAI, OLACEFS, and PASAI, have established a Regional Working Group on Environmental Auditing (RWGEA). With a vision for a common sustainable future, WGEA aims to promote innovative environmental auditing. Its key goals include increasing global expertise in environmental auditing and enhancing environmental governance through high-quality contributions and visibility.
