WGSL

Wallingford Girls’ Softball League (WGSL) is a community softball league serving girls in kindergarten through grade 12 in Wallingford, Connecticut. For 50 years, the league has brought players together to learn, compete, build friendships, and create lasting memories. WGSL offers four divisions—Instructional, Clinic, Junior, and Senior—so players can progress to more challenging levels as they develop.

Its slow-pitch format encourages more hitting, fielding, and action, and is designed for players of different ages and abilities. The league also offers competitive middle school and high school play in a non-intimidating setting. Beyond regular games, WGSL organizes player and coach clinics, jamborees, and All-Star games, giving participants additional opportunities to learn and take part.

Families can find registration information, division rules, game schedules, standings, scores, and calendar listings through the league’s website. WGSL also shares information about its fields, including Gaylord Fields, and invites community members to support the league
