Whale Bay

Whale Bay Cascades is a residential development offering luxury coastal living in architect-designed homes. The community features freehold Ocean Villas in single-, double- and triple-storey designs, along with Lagoon Villas planned to overlook a seawater lagoon. The homes are promoted for their sea views, seafront locations and sundowner decks, with available erven offered for buyers to build their chosen villa design.

The development combines contemporary amenities with features intended to support security and resilience. Security measures include a three-metre perimeter wall, a 24-hour security reception, biometric readers, thermal cameras and fibre-optic interconnectivity cabling. Many homes include an imported pneumatic vacuum elevator, designed to accommodate an occupied wheelchair and another person. Environmental and coastal considerations include protected fynbos, solar lighting, a planned seawater lagoon, raised seafront ground levels and a substantial boulder erosion-protection wall. Whale Bay Cascades presents its homes as a secure, lock-up-and-go option for people seeking an upscale coastal residence, with a focus on thoughtful design, modern technology and protection of the seafront setting.
