Whirly-Girls Intl

Whirly-Girls International is an organization dedicated to advancing women in helicopter aviation. It brings together female helicopter pilots through membership, mentoring, educational opportunities, and events, while supporting pathways into aviation careers. Members can join at different levels, renew or upgrade their membership, connect with peers, and participate in the mentoring program.

A central part of the organization’s work is its scholarship program. Whirly-Girls offers scholarships, shares application information and frequently asked questions, and recognizes scholarship sponsors, judges, and past recipients. The organization also presents achievement awards and encourages support through scholarship donations, planned giving, endowment contributions, and fundraising activities.

Whirly-Girls provides ways for companies to engage through its Corporate Alliance program and promotes job opportunities for pilots and technicians. Its activities include a conference and gala, participation in VERTICON and the Women in Aviation International conference, and the Give It A Whirl event. The organization also publishes a newsletter featuring member achievements, upcoming events, and scholarship news, and operates an online store.
