Whisper Aero

Whisper Aero is a next-generation electric propulsion company that is paving the way for a cleaner, quieter, and more efficient future. With a team comprised of industry experts from prestigious organizations like NASA, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Rolls Royce, Whisper Aero has been at the forefront of electric propulsion for over a decade. Their mission is to pioneer a more considerate, compelling, and connected future by delivering innovative propulsion solutions.

Their propulsors, which are the result of 15+ years of research and development, are considered the safest, quietest, and most efficient electric propulsion technology available today. Whisper Aero's journey began in 2009 with the introduction of distributed electric propulsion (DEP) through the unveiling of the Puffin, a personal air vehicle concept. This was followed by the successful flight of the GL-10, an electric vertical takeoff and landing drone, in 2011.

In 2013, they scaled up DEP with LEAPTech, a large-scale distributed electric propulsion blown wing. Finally, in 2016, NASA's X-57, the first crewed X-plane in over two decades, was built using Whisper Aero's technology. Whisper Aero's commitment to innovation and sustainability has made them a leading force in the electric propulsion industry, and their products and services are driving us towards a more compelling and connected future
