Whistling Dixie Farms is a family-operated farm and animal-care business founded by Josh and Julie McFalls. Based on a five-acre property, it was created to provide an inclusive, welcoming place where people and animals can learn from one another. The farm offers recreational horseback riding lessons in both English and Western disciplines. Owner and trainer Julie teaches beginners as well as experienced riders returning to horseback riding, with an emphasis on enjoyment and building a bond with the horse rather than meeting a prescribed performance level.

Whistling Dixie Pet Sitting provides full-service concierge pet and farm sitting for domestic and farm animals. Josh leads this service, drawing on his experience with animal care, training, and rescue; the business welcomes all breeds. For visitors seeking a hands-on experience, Equestrian Encounters offer time with the farm’s friendly horses, including opportunities to give treats, pet, groom, saddle, and ride. Whistling Dixie Farms serves families and animal lovers through lessons, sitting services, and engaging experiences with horses.
