White Night Haltern am See is a music and culture event that brings live performances and artists to venues across the town. Organized by volunteers from Rockbüro Haltern, the festival aims to enrich the local cultural scene rather than generate commercial profit. Ticket income and sponsorship contributions support event staff, performers, travel and accommodation costs, and technical equipment.
For the main evening, visitors exchange a ticket for a wristband at one of the participating locations. The wristband provides access to around 20 venues, where audiences can discover a varied program of music and cultural experiences. The event’s website features programs from multiple past years and information about upcoming editions.
White Night also offers the White Cruise, a separate afternoon concert trip on Lake Haltern aboard the electric excursion boat Möwe. The cruise features live music by Musik For The Kitchen, whose acoustic repertoire spans jazz, swing, reggae, and reimagined popular songs. Cruise tickets are sold separately and do not include entry to the evening festival.
