White Dragon Judo

White Dragon Judo Club is a Saint Louis-area club offering Kodokan Judo instruction for children and adults at all experience levels. Its mission is to help students become skilled judoka while developing physical fitness and personal character through the study of Judo. The club also values diversity, creating a welcoming environment where training can be both a cultural experience and an enjoyable activity.

The club runs separate junior and adult sessions throughout the week, with additional adult classes on weekends. Its website supports students with curriculum information, rank requirements, Japanese vocabulary, and profiles of the club’s instructors. It also shares educational material on Judo techniques and practice, including throws, holds, kata, and belt-tying guidance. Competition and training are part of the club’s community, with junior and senior programs serving students at different stages of development. White Dragon Judo Club aims to provide local residents with opportunities to learn, practice, and grow through this martial art. For class information or directions, visitors can contact Sensei Derick Wellman.
