WP Youth Bureau

The White Plains Youth Bureau is a vital community organization dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of young individuals in the White Plains area. The bureau actively works to safeguard youth against substance abuse and other delinquent behaviors by building a network of protective factors within the community. Central to their mission is the White Plains Cares Coalition, which brings together diverse community stakeholders, including schools, local government, law enforcement, and health services, to assess needs and implement preventive measures.

Through various programs targeting elementary, middle, and high school students, the Youth Bureau offers services such as health and wellness initiatives, youth employment services, and community events to foster engagement and education. The coalition meets monthly to strategize on reducing youth substance use and advocates for sustained community support. Led by an experienced team, the White Plains Youth Bureau embodies a vision of creating a safe, healthy environment where families and youth can thrive together.
