Whitestone Funerals

Whitestone Funerals is a locally rooted funeral home serving Oamaru and the wider North Otago community. For more than a century, families have trusted its team for compassionate guidance and practical support during bereavement. The experienced funeral directors and staff listen to each family and help arrange farewells that reflect the life being honoured, from simple services to personalised celebrations. They coordinate details such as venue setup, music, flowers and catering, with options available for different budgets.

Whitestone provides a complete range of funeral services, including funeral planning and arrangements, catering, caskets, urns, keepsakes, jewellery and memorabilia. The team also offers help with recording funeral wishes in advance, aftercare resources and tributes. Its facilities are together at one Oamaru site: Whitestone Funerals Chapel, Stringer Catering Lounge, Westview Memorial Gardens and Westview Crematorium, identified as North Otago’s only crematorium. This onsite setup can reduce travel for families and guests. The team is available 24 hours a day to provide immediate assistance and support throughout the planning process.
